Hi there!
I’m Nicole Hanlon — a passionate upper elementary teacher, curriculum creator, and lover of all things classroom organization and creativity.
I’ve been teaching for 25 years, and my heart is in the upper elementary classroom. I love working with third, fourth, and fifth grade students—especially when it comes to math, social studies, and science. This blog is my space to share practical tips, time-saving tricks, and classroom-tested resources to help other upper elementary teachers feel confident, supported, and inspired.
What started as a creative outlet for making materials for my own classroom has grown into something more—a way to connect with fellow educators and share ideas that bring lessons to life.
When I’m not in teacher mode, I’m a proud wife to my husband Shane (we’ve been married nearly 25 years!), mom to three grown boys, and grandma to a sweet granddaughter who turns six in July. I also have a chocolate lab named Bella who’s never far from my side—she’s my shadow and constant companion.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Don’t forget to check out my latest resources in my Teachers Pay Teachers store — Handy Hanlon Creations. I hope you find something that makes your teaching life easier and more enjoyable!
